Pumpkin Butter Chocolate Swirl Bread

  • 2 cup Kodiak Cakes Honey Wheat Mix
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 blocks chocolate bark
  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. In a mixing bowl combine kodiak mix, baking soda, spices and salt. 

  3. In a separate bowl mix together pumpkin puree, milk, brown sugar, pumpkin butter and egg.

  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until fully incorporated.

  5. In a microwaveable safe bowl, melt chocolate bark.

  6. Pour in melted chocolate to bread batter and gently swirl into batter. Do not mix too much as you want the chocolate to be swirled throughout the bread.

  7. Pour batter in a greased loaf pan and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.

  8. While bread is baking, combine greek yogurt and sugar. Add a splash of milk until desired consistency for the drizzle.

  9. Once bread is finished cooking allow it to cool completely before icing and slicing!
